ELESKO

ELESKO entered the Slovak wine market in 2009. It owns vineyards in the Malokarpatska wine-growing region and the Tokaj wine-growing region and owns the most modern wine park in Central Europe. It is characterized by quality, exceptional taste of traditional Slovak gastronomy in a new dress and, last but not least, interest in postmodern art. The ELESKO WINE PARK wine and agritourism complex is sensitively integrated into the landscape and purposefully connected to the existing transport routes. Its visitors can enjoy a tour of the winery for lunch or dinner in the restaurant, stay in luxury apartments with a fully equipped relaxation center or stroll in the ampelographic vineyard. Art lovers will be addressed by the largest collection of Andy Warhol’s originals in Slovakia, thematic openings, concerts and theater performances in the Zoya Gallery. Although ELESKO is one of the most modern progressive wineries today, it has retained its local character and naturally integrated into the picturesque surroundings of the Little Carpathians.

The winery follows the Michálková family’s wine-growing tradition, which was one of the largest wine-growing and wine-growing clans in Modra at the beginning of the 20th century.
Today he farms in his own, old vineyards in the Modran district – on three hunts: Dolné Grefty, Noviny and Téglik. The main varieties are Veltlínské zelené, Chardonnay, Rizling rýnsky and Svätovavrinecké.
“Our wines are a natural mirror of the vintage and where they come from. And we know we can only shoot this mirror gently. Each of our hunts has a head and an opinion. And we like to respect him every year. That is why our wines always reflect the vintage and especially the Modran terroir – the place of its origin.

Malé divy

Like the roots of the vine, ours is deeply and firmly rooted in this exceptional place. As lovers of the city of Modra, we respect traditions, history and nature. We have therefore created the Malé divy brand, which is a beautiful symbol of the place under the Little Carpathians, with extraordinary climatic conditions, diversity of soils and vine varieties. And with this original approach, we represent this terroir under the name Little Wonders of the Little Carpathians. The little wonders represent a combination of natural conditions that the country offers us and which, together with the social, cultural and historical aspects, form the unique and typical character of wine in this area.

Sodoma víno

The winery is a long-standing producer of high-quality white, varietal and branded wines from its own vineyards. Behind the SODOMA WINE brand is the winemaker Vladimír Sodoma, who produces his own wines. Since 1991 and is one of the founders of the Malokarpatska wine route. Wines from the SODOMA WINE production can be purchased in the shop on Horná 4 in Modra, which is located directly in the premises of an ancient Renaissance mill from the 17th century. We decided to sensitively reconstruct the mill building and restore its functionality not only, but also to create a place where visitors will be happy to return as part of a comprehensive restart.

Víno Purus

Purus wine produces wines exclusively from its own grown grapes. We manage vineyards in Modra and Pezinok. In our portfolio you will find both traditional varieties and new breeders. During production, we pay attention to the terroir of the locality, we refer to it as PIESOK, SKALA and HLINA. We consider the most interesting to be 2 types of Veltlínské zelené, dry Pinot blanc, the lesser-known Silvánske červená variety, the popular Pesecká leánka or the sweet Kerner. Red wines achieve their elegance by maturing in oak barrels, they are the Danube, Rudava and St.Laurent. The winery is located in Modra na Kráľová and we have the possibility of private events and tastings in the picturesque royal garden.

Vinárstvo Rychel

The wines we offer are made from grapes from local vineyards. We focus on varieties with a long tradition that are typical of this area. Since the establishment of the winery, we have been trying to improve the quality of our wines every year, so we emphasize the origin and quality of the grapes. Our philosophy is to highlight the history-proven qualities of the Lesser Carpathians. We grow grapes on an area of approximately five hectares, which we harvest exclusively by hand during the harvest period. Therefore, even though this time is very physically demanding, honest harvesting is key for us. That is why we buy grapes that we do not grow ourselves from our long-term suppliers, who care about the quality of vineyards and grapes as much as we do. Proof of its success is that people return to us to replenish our wine stocks, where they have found quality and honest work. What we value in our work is that many of our customers have also become our close friends.

Secondary School of Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Modra

The school cellar offers wines from young winemakers. It achieves the quality of the best wine producers in Slovakia. Wines from the production of the Secondary Vocational School of Viticulture and Fruit Growing in Modra regularly win awards at recognized wine competitions. Production is mainly focused on adjective wines. If you are a wine lover, taste and compare the wines of beginning winemakers. In addition to the sale of wine, the school cellar offers the possibility of tasting wines of its own production, a tour of the cellar and a place for organizing corporate events and family celebrations.

Víno Kmeťo

The company Víno Kmeťo started writing its history after 1992. It started cultivating the first vineyards, from which the first wine began to emerge, and the company found its first customers. At present, the company cultivates 5.5 hectares of its own and leased vineyards. We try to keep up with new technologies. Maintain and increase the quality of wines, including an air-conditioned cellar, controlled fermentation, the use of pure cultures of wine yeasts, desilting of musts, which are processed by a pneumatic press. The annual production is 20,000 bottles, where you can find white, rosé and red wines. The wine menu also includes sweet selections, such as berry and straw wines. We are successful at wine exhibitions at home and abroad.

Shebo Modra

The Šebo family has been associated with grape growing and winemaking for over 400 years. The Chateau Modra winery has followed in the footsteps of their ancestors, and since 1998 the winery has been an integral part of the town. This Small Carpathian company excels at producing premium wines from grapes grown exclusively in their own vineyards. They have received numerous domestic and international awards. You can also find their wines at the Slovak National Collection of Wines, the ultimate competition of wines produced in Slovakia from grapes grown in Slovakia. Indulge in a taste of Grüner Veltliner or Blaufränkisch, or the newly developed Dunaj, Nitria, Hron, and Devín.
