Church of Saint Stephen the King

This church, which dominates the town square, was built from 1873 to 1876. It replaced an existing, smaller temple that could not accommodate the needs of the worshippers. The original building was adjacent to the city tower, but the new church subsumed the tower and today they form one building. You can visit the temple during church service and communal prayer.
